At PlayFest, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for everyone. This Code of Conduct applies to all streamers and participants involved in the event.
To protect the atmosphere of the event, the following are not permitted:
- discriminatory speech or behavior of any kind
- political content or advocacy
- discussions of controversial or problematic current events
- inflammatory or divisive content
- religious discussions
- propaganda
All participants are expected to respect the principles of respectful community living and behavior at all times.
Participants must follow Twitch’s rules and use the platform responsibly. This includes respecting their sub-goals, avoiding dangerous challenges, and ensuring that no sub-goal is connected to political or religious topics.
Sub-goals should remain realistic and appropriate to the donation milestone (e.g. playing with a ball for a 20,000 milestone is not suitable). Personal information, including addresses, account details, or other identifying information, must never be shared about yourself or anyone else.
Please help keep the event space clean and take care of all equipment. Trash bins will be available next to the desks for waste disposal.
If a streamer causes damage to event equipment, any compensation costs will be their responsibility. Streamers are also fully responsible for any personal equipment they bring with them during the event.
By taking part in PlayFest, participants agree to respect this Code of Conduct. Please confirm this in the registration form by checking the box “Yes, I agree.”
